For most of my professional life, I believed analytical thinking and intuition belonged in separate worlds.

My career as a navigation systems engineer taught me to trust systems, structure, evidence, and what could be measured. My life—and ultimately my near-death experience—taught me there is another kind of intelligence available to us as well.

Today, I speak about what becomes possible when we stop choosing between the two.

From women's groups and engineering students to corporate teams and leaders, my talks invite audiences to reconsider how we define strength, where our most innovative ideas come from, and what happens when we learn to trust both the intelligence we can measure and the wisdom we can only know.
