Hi, I’m Geri Burke.
I share this because maybe you can relate. I spent over 20 years in corporate America as a Wireless Systems & GPS Navigation Engineer working with giants like Motorola and Northrop Grumman. Somewhere deep inside, I always knew that I was on the wrong path but it was the safe path and I never thought I would be anything but an engineer. But one day I felt like something wasn't quite right, like something really important was missing in my life.
Now I am blessed to be living my life's purpose of guiding others toward their own purposeful life so that they can stop the endless, meaningless drifting. We are all meant to experience rich, meaningful lives!
From the outside looking in, I know it must have looked like I had it all together. I had earned two master's degrees, one in engineering and one in transformational leadership. Over the years I climbed the corporate ladder, built a great career and had a great job with a nice salary. And all of that meant I had a nice house, a nice car and took the nice vacations ... but it also meant that I had the nice high cost of living that came along with all of it.
And even though I seemed like I had it all, and I wanted it to be enough, I was still not happy. That career basically sucked the life out of my soul, and it cost me my health. After a long respiratory illness my heart stopped beating - I flatlined. It was a 3rd degree heart block causing a sudden cardiac arrest. They rushed me to the hospital and performed emergency surgery to implant a pacemaker to keep me alive.
Even though I suffered a brain injury from the lack of oxygen, and had to learn to walk and talk again, I feel so blessed to have gone through the experience.
People ask me if I saw something and I smile and nod. I saw, but not with my eyes. I heard, but not with my ears. I knew, but it was not from learning something new. The gift was remembering something so old and pure and expansive that there are no human words that could ever do it justice.
Yes, I saw something; it was a "remembering" and it changed me completely.
The experience set me on a new path, with new passion and determination because I knew that Source had given me the direction to share what I had learned with others.
I became a Holy Fire Reiki Certified Master, and developed a signature coaching program that combines my background in GPS Navigation with my new spiritual roots. And I wrote the book "Navigation for the Soul" which outlines the method.
My coaching picks up where the power of positive thinking leaves off. I help you connect to your higher purpose, let go of limiting beliefs and begin to see the possibilities, but then I take you a step further and help you mold those possibilities into a viable future. The results? You can finally transform your life.
